On the 30th of October, 2022, a captivating seminar unfolded within the intimate confines of our very own rehearsal room, orchestrated by the knowledgeable Ujan Chatterjee. A congregation of 46 dedicated members of our drama group gathered to immerse themselves in a profound exploration of the nexus between music and the dramatic arts. The seminar’s focal point was the nuanced examination of music’s profound impact on the world of drama.
Throughout this enlightening four-hour session, the participants delved deep into the intricacies of music, dissecting its importance and significance within the realm of dramatic storytelling. The seminar provided a unique platform to introduce and dissect the music featured in our own production, “Raktokarabi.” Every musical note, every instrument choice, and every melodic shift was meticulously explained, revealing how each element profoundly influenced the mood and ambiance of a particular scene.
